Bartram Educational Forest

This 2100 acre educational forest operated by the Georgia Forestry Commission has benefited greatly from projects conducted by GCSU GIS students. Trail maps, road maps, navigation courses, fire safety materials, and land cover images have all been developed by students. An ongoing project involves posting GIS data on an internet server so that local school groups can better utilize the education forest for outdoor activities and environmental education. |
